New Italian place on block where there are four others. Fun casual modern vibe. Truffle Mac and ricotta pie are great. Only place on the block with Happy Hour wine specials! $7 sauv blac - yes please

Definitely want to come back and try more of the menu. Hummus was delicious, as was the octopus.

The food here is so delicious! Vella Wine Bar has amazing atmosphere and experienced services. We ordered cheese plate,mushroom fettuccine and steamed mussels.I can highly recommend to all my friends.

Amazing food, wonderful staff and awesome cocktails! Our friend threw a party here and the appetizers and passed dishes were so good!

Had breakfast here, two girls were playing music. The food was pretty good, the music too. Nice vibe and the staff treated us well. I liked it.

Great happy hour every day from 4-7pm at the bar. Wines are $7 and half price oysters.

Great atmosphere, not too loud. Fairly limited cocktail menu. Didn't try the food this time but it smelled fantastic. They have lobster mac'n'cheese!

Tasty Croque Madame on the brunch menu. Outdoor seating, but the inside looked really cute and the bar was pretty big. Will go back.

Tommy is a gentlemen and also, a bad mofo. Jump into the duck liver mousse and a nice Cabernet Sauvignon.

Salmon rilettes too small for the price and prosciutto too thick cut. Chicken cassoulet is good but served on a small plate for unknown reasons. Overall average.

We were told a 20 minute wait for 2 people and we ended up being ignored at the bar for an hour. Finally seated + ready to order and no one came. We left and I'm starving! Avoid this place!!!

Kitchen takes too long to put out orders. My steak was burned outside and totally rare inside surrounded by over oily and extremely salty salad. Don't think I'll come back.

Very slow service. Over 25 minutes to get seated, with a reservation, and over an hour to get any food. Not worth the wait.

This place is a joke. The food is basic and it took over an hour to prepare 3 cheese ravioli. Worst place I've ever been to in NYC.
