Tip: If you're on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk & have a sweet tooth, this place has it all- ice cream, cotton candy, fudge, & all sorts of candies & candied apples.
Best Orangeade (made w/ real oranges!) I've ever had & frozen custard's pretty good too!
Order the Black Raspberry Rum Cake- our fave & the Caribbean Rum Bundt Cake is also great. Both have pure Madagascar vanilla & packed full of dark Bacardi Rum in the batter & the sauce.
Tasted (+ bought 2!) BEST rum cakes off the Caribbean @ an UES street fair. Not cheap & they're originally based in Troy NY but you can also order the Black Raspberry Rum Cake- our fave- online!
Blueberry ice cream was decent, especially for a 2-for-1 ice cream deal from Clam Shack. Note: coupon map was inaccurate. Store front is on Ocean Ave across the street from Ben & Jerry's.
Creative but not necessarily the most kid-friendly, traditional flavors. Get the red wine sorbet & strawberry basil ice cream!
Cash only & doesn't have rewards cards like other tea places & Passion Fruit Green Tea was warm & funky-tasting. M's Grapefruit Green Tea was better but also barely has ice! Never coming back!
FREE scoop of Italian ice w/ Yelp check-in! Loved the orange vanilla swirl (like an orange creamsicle) but wished they put it in 2 cups instead of 1 thin one which got pretty messy when melted.
Good Maine ice cream...my husband and 5 year old were crazy for the blueberry street made with real blueberries!
The dessert section...seriously wanted to get a piece of all of them (3 layer carrot cake, Maine blueberry cream cake, Crushed oreo and chocolate cake,strawberry lemon mousse cake, etc)
My fave is Sweetmilk w/ strawberry purรฉe + strawberries & blueberries (pic shows that + Strawberry snow which is not that great + Captain Crunch)
The coffee is solid (Le Columbe) as are the mini cookies (3 for $1.75 - try the chocolate chip) and mini baguette sandwiches.
Go on the weekend, they offer six different flavors that aren't available during the week.
Canadian burger chain is welcome UES addition. Opens โtil 11pm. Tasty fries, Tempura Zucchini, Shakes, Sundaes + ALL-DAY egg sammies! But Mushroom Poutine is too salty & burgers are dry & flavorless.
When in Wine Country, drink a Wine Slushy..delicious & refreshing! Hope LP keeps selling these & the Dole Whips & gives a lesson in manners to their rude middle-aged woman employee who works @ window

Forget the BBQ Pork Bun, curry fish balls, rice noodles & the rest. Stick to their authentic HK-Style Milk Tea + famous SPONGE CAKE (plain, green tea, strawberry, etc) which are BEST in Cโtown!
