Serious Eats: This is some of the best roast pork in Chinatown. A serving over rice will set you back about five bucks. Cash only.

Epicurious: Don't let the name fool you - the noodles aren't the only delicious items on the menu at this Chinatown fave. Savor the salt-baked soft-shell crab, duck w/ flowering chives, and killer suckling pig.

Varun Shetty: Dumplings Til You Die: keep running back orders of the soup and steamed pork dumplings. Until they wheel you out of there. In a coffin. To the cemetery. Because you died. Of deliciousness.

sharilyn: Shrimp and Bacon Roll is the stuff of dreams. This place is the real deal!

momofuku: the lobster country-style and chives with lily bulbs are must orders. don’t forget the limited dim sum menu available at dinner.

Christen Duong: The best soup dumplings in the city! Amazingly never too crowded, and spacious for Chinatown.

Pauline Li: Props for the big tray of chicken (大盘鸡) and pancake with pork (肉夹馍）Seriously the MOST authentic Chinese hole-in-the-wall gem. The dishes are similar to Xi'an, but only more spicy and well-flavored.

Sarah Meyer: Best dumplings I know of in Chinatown. Try the shrimp watercress - you'll be so glad you did.

ドーラ: Delicious Chinese bakery at great prices.I like the pineapple buns and custard buns. They make awesome custom birthday fruit cakes, too!
