Real Madrid C.F.: This plaza is the heart of Madrid and one of the busiest places in the city - a hub for the local transit system, a favorite meeting spot for locals, street performers, and all the tourists.

Marc Escanuelas: Go at night to see not only the beautiful fountain lit but also the classic neon nearby.

Otel.com: If you want to see some of the most beautiful buildings in Madrid, go to this grand square. The ones you shouldn't miss are the Fountain and the historical Banco de Espana.

Kate Turner: Best views over Madrid from rooftop terrace bar La Azotea. Costs €3 to go up (take the lift). At €4 for a glass of wine it's more expensive than average city prices. Chilled atmosphere.

Bibi: Go to top floor to enjoy varieties of foods (Spanish, Mexican, pizza, dim sum) drinks and desserts with great views of Madrid. Come on a sunny day.

Jordan Taylor: Absolutely stunning. Come here earlier than sunset (since the interior of the temple closes before dark), watch the sunset from the hill, and then wait for the temple lights to come on - gorgeous!

Nina Ottaviano: The world's oldest restaurant has outlasted all other for a reason. The suckling pig and the lamb are amazing. Check out the wine cellar in the basement.

Eunman Yoon: Thanks to the tip on foursquare, we made a reservation after 10 and got to be lucky enough to enjoy not only good food but also even better music. It makes just fantastic atmosphere!

Burak Topcuoglu: A popular and trendy place especially for dinner. Everything that I've tried was perfect starting from the appetizers to the desert. Especially wines are spectacular. I liked it, strongly recommended.

Kate McCormley: Fantastic dinner. One of the best I've had in Madrid. Reservations definitely needed though!

Masa Jencic: You have to try the potito, veal cheeks and taco with duck. The place itself is fun, modern and hip, as well as the dishes-they take a fun turn on traditional tapas.

Jozefien Uytterhoeven: Without any doubt the hippest place in Madrid. The dishes are inventive but not too much, the prices are reasonable for the food you get! Don't forget to make a reservation!

Jessica jessica: Hands down the best park in Madrid. Always full of life, day or night. Super pretty gardens, so many monuments etc. Must see the lake and glass house.

S. Fan: Well crafted cocktails in a hip neighborhood and beautifully decorated setting. Check out the apple stomy if you like whiskey and ginger beer

Roman: One of the best classic bodegas in the area, enjoy the variety of drinks and tapas it got to offer
