    Fantastic food and great ambiance for a fair price - in particular if you eat in the bistro. Since you can not reserve the bistro, bring some time for the wait.

    Exquisite dining experience. Food are absolute delight. Classy & elegant decor. Murals & fresh flowers completes the beautiful atmosphere. The price for the 3 meal course is def out of the question!

    An excellent option for a celebratory occasion. Every single person from coat check, to host, to wait staff to sommelier wished us a happy anniversary. And no tipping!

    A separate tavern and dining room can accommodate any occasion. Diners in the latter area can choose the excellent Seasonal Tasting Menu, six courses of utter perfection.

    Probably the best pasta dish I've ever eaten in my life and that's not an exaggeration by any measure. Like wtf holy shit. Pasta. Seriously. You're going to smile all night during and after dinner.

    this is a place that I visit each trip. it's not New York unless I visit. service is impeccable. food outstanding. just give in to the enjoyment of your experience.

    What a delicious meal. The trout appetizer was the highlight for me...everything else delicious, tried monkfish, lamb loin, tagliatelle. Service was impeccable too.

    Lunch or dinner in the front room doesn't require a reservation, doesn't usually have a long wait (if any), and is delicious at a more affordable price than the main dining room.

    we got the tasting menu in october and loved the scallop and duck (crispiest skin ever); if you don't like the dessert option, ask for the full dessert menu

    Their prix fix tasting menu was great! 5 great courses and a few surprises thrown in as well. Service was amazing-- well paced and personable.

    Terrific tasting menu, seafood and wine list. Highly recommend for a great night out. You can Kosher here too, if you navigate the menu appropriately

    Gramercy Tavern is virtually synonymous with a certain style of service. Cheerful, wholesome, engaging, proactive, the servers are the sort you'd be comfortable leaving young children with.

    This place never disappoints. Everything is great, but you need to have the burger if you visit for lunch.

    eating at the bar a la carte is my favorite way to dine here. vegetarians will love the seasonal lasagna.

    The restaurant’s no-reservations front room is that rare space that’s sexy enough for a date but comfortable enough for your grandparents, and the menu is so thoughtful it’s like an act of generosity.

    I've always just sat at the bar area and by far, greatest simple meal. I highly recommend. And really well-priced. Phenomenal.

    Right now they have Quintarelli by the glass. If you're ever so fortunate to see any of his wines available in this manner - take advantage! A master wine maker who is sadly no longer with us.

    The tasting menu is a must. Try the seasonal and veggie. Also, the cheese plate is fantastic. Montalban cocktail is yummy as well.

    The vegetable tasting menu ($102) is surprisingly not instantly vegetarian, but can easily be made vegetarian (e.g., removing fish sauce).

    The strawberry dessert was the best. Portions are small, but delicious bread is plentiful and there's dessert after the dessert. Very expensive, but no tipping.

    Probably the best in NY. The lamb is amazing. Try the Orange Blossom. Get pretty to have dinner here and be ready to spend a few hundred dollars in this place.
