    Don't miss out the most perfect bouillabaisse! Their signature is sole with Hollandaise sauce. Delicious. Very romantic, too rosy; VERY French and fancy. Men, grab a jacket (or they'll give you one).

    Have to go for the prix fixe menu. Begin with lobster bisque, sole, beef and veal very well prepared with great sauce. Of course, great service by the staff.

    The grenouille were okay but not as good as the previous time at this spot and not nearly as good as chez Andre in Paris. We were here on Saturday. Maybe the regular chef was on day off.

    A+ all the way! If you're looking for a sceney vibe & crowd, then look no further than La Grenouille; an institution 60 years of business to be exact. This is old-school NY meets old-world Paris!!

    They have changed their lunch menu to more limited choices. Food is still good but many of the best options are gone. Wine prices are highest in NYC. Food was good but place half full.

    Nothing.terrible food. My daughter got chicken that wasn't cooked. My salmon was so bad & shrimps had such a bad smell.We left the restaurant&stop by other places to pick up dinner.Will never go back

    Horrible place! Like France fake... its not a french food. For example vague is extremely horrible, i put it back to the kitchen. The taste is like sausage!Dress code, but food is like mcDonald's ...

    Soufflé is a must. Ask for the sauce with more grand mariner if that is the way you like it that is perfect for us

    Very disappointing. Average food, un-informed and lackluster service... all in all vastly over-priced, over-rated and not an enjoyable experience.

    Sit upstairs, more character and less stuffy. I'm not a fancy guy but if you feel like indulging this is the place to do it. So tip your nose up, get some champagne and pretend like your an oligarch.

    One of the most romantic spots! The flowers and dim lights are simply perfect topped with really good food and wines.

    Absolutely amazing atmosphere, more pompous downstairs very charming upstairs. Great foie gras, super duck and really tasty chocolate souffle. Service is top notch.

    A really solid, old school french restaurant. The best soufflé chocolat i've ever hard. But the waiters are so french so if you want warm service, go anywhere else.

    too expensive. 10 guys all standing waiting on 2 tables. 300 per bottle of chateau de magdalene when u can buy online for 40$

    Go here for truly classic French cuisine such as Le Foie Gras Chaud aux Pêches, Little Necks Corsini, Les Ris de Veau au Romarin as opposed to some of the newer, trendier French eateries in the city

    If you are planning an intimate dinner for two ask for a corner table. The food, ambience & wine list are all devine. Most of the other tips are spot on!

    The scallops were very good as expected but not the best ever. The soufflés however were the best ever. I had lemon and she had grand mariner.

    The food is incomparable, as is the service in every respect. Beautiful room. Not inexpensive, but you'll be treated as if you were Louis XIV.
