- Brandon Sullivan2월 16, 2013Beats all other Chi museums. 50% interesting artifacts & knowledge sharing, 50% interactive learning & tinkering. Covers dozen of topics, turning your "spend an afternoon" into "spend the whole day"
- Kevin Dulin8월 11, 2014Get tickets for the Coal Mine as it's super cool! But be quick, as it sells out early. The Boeing 727 is also very awesome.
- Pack a lunch and allow for breaks in between! There's plenty of spots to charge your gadgets. ;-) The coolest museum!
- Ian Rodriguez4월 25, 2012Allocate enough time to see everything that you want to. There's a lot of awesomeness to be seen, so make sure you can see as much of it as possible. Might need to take the whole day!
- Belit Rodriguez12월 1, 2017It takes waaay more than a day to visit. The storms exhibit was my favourite. The garden is not open on winter :(
- Mike Robinson6월 12, 2013This is incredible. You could probably spend all day here and not see everything. And the Brain Food Court is awesome. Must see if you're in Chicago.
- Derek Eskens10월 26, 2015Go to the mirror maze early in the morning before the mirrors get smudged. Remember, if you get lost, just keep turning left. And be sure to find the hidden room inside.
- nemo serges2월 22, 2017Always a great time! All of the exhibits are fun and educational and plenty of them are interactive. Fun at any age.
- Kelvin Chang6월 22, 2015Definitely check out the U-Boat exhibition! It's even worth the price to buy the tour so you can take a look inside the submarine!
- Ganula Borgilchuluun3월 23, 2016Take a little trip to South, you will find yourself in the amazing Museum of Science and Industry, whoever goes there discovers something, you will never get bored there.
- United Federation Starfleet8월 16, 2011Great interactive museum that'll take you back in time, and allow you to see the future! Don't miss the U-505, Take Flight, and the Henry Crown Space Center with the Apollo 8 capsule!
- Jo Ann Flores-Deter12월 29, 2012Only museum I've seen in Chicago that has such a great play area for children + nursing station just like home
- Ian Smithdahl5월 5, 2014Park in the park district lot around back, between the museum and the lake. It's $10 -- not cheap, but cheaper than $20 in the museum lot.
- carmelle goss4월 23, 2015All the features are very good, but the cost is very expensive, especially when you have more than one child. There should be more discounts, so that people with a certain income can take their kids.
- Eva Mcl4월 19, 2013Only own til 4pm done sure to get in early. Lots to see and do, with experiments happening at specific times. Unfortunatly lots of schools too
- Steven Parker2월 3, 2016Loved it as child but now not so much. Science Storms & model train are great but rest very juvenile. Don't go Fri AM: Field trips are WILD!
- Joanna Poe6월 4, 2023Nice exhibits, but man, is this place pricey. U-505 is especially rushed and not so much a tour as a dramatized walkthrough with mood lighting. Might be disappointed if you've been on other subs.
- Amy Robertson5월 15, 2016Plan on a full day! Filled with hands on fun for kids and adults--buy an omnimax ticket to rest your feet and have a feast for your eyes
- Gina12월 30, 2016Wonderfully interactive exhibits for all ages. Even the Jollyball can keep us occupied for ages.
- Ben Morrow8월 3, 2015Massive museum. Give yourself plenty of time. The injection-molded plastic souvenirs in each area are unique and fun.
- Catriona Hunter11월 21, 2013Special exhibit tickets sell out. So get there early if you really want to see something. If you are in a group, book your tickets together to ensure you get the same timeslot.
- Benjamin de la Fuente8월 8, 2014After all these years, this place continues to get better and better. No childhood is complete without a visit here. The built-out section for the German U-Boat is breathtaking and moving.
- Simon & Schuster Manager8월 24, 2011Building that housed the original Field Museum, before it moved to its current location; also close to the World’s Fair of 1893. Featured in the novel BRIGHT AND DISTANT SHORES. http://bit.ly/oM5tmC
- Jeremy Wilcox9월 23, 2013Really fun museum for kids or adults. Lots to see and interact with. There's no "L" train near here, but taking the Metra from Millennium Park is quick, easy, and cheap.
- isela1월 4, 2017Order your tickets online instead of waiting in line at the museum. You might even snag a promo code this way!
- Chris G5월 14, 2013Apollo 8 CSM is on display here. Launched 12/21/1698, Apollo 8 became the first manned spacecraft to leave low-earth orbit, first to reach the moon and orbit, and the first to see the whole planet.
- Scott Brunsting3월 29, 2012Purchasing a membership is definitely worth it here! Touring the whole museum in one day is quite a feat, especially if you have kids in tow...they also reciprocate with a number of other museums!
- Alma Leal11월 13, 2013The movies at the IMAX theatre (or at least Space Junk, the one I saw) are the perfect opportunity to take a power nap.
- Madison Orlofski8월 16, 2013The animals in side out is amazing as is the mining thing. Skip the toy making exhibit. Loved this museum!!!
- Manuel Mendoza11월 15, 2012Avoid the first floor is purely children's stuff. Submarine is a MUST as well as whole 3rth floor
- Play in the Mirror Maze! It's free but you need to get a timed-ticket at the kiosk by the entrance.
- Britta the pointyelbow3월 15, 2013If you loved Body Worlds, check out Animals Inside. Hopefully, the gorilla & elephant make it out of customs before the show leaves. I would love to see those.
- Brad Hoback3월 21, 2011So much to see and do here; start early and stay all day. The U505 exhibit is incredible. The omnimax movie "Tornado Alley" was intense. Get tix and get in line early to get a good seat.
- Andrew4월 1, 2017Best way to spend a Saturday without question. Something to see and learn with each visit.
- Pauline Remy3월 14, 2013Really expensive! 18$ entry + 8$ By attraction +12$ for spécial exhibition... The general admission is really more interesting for children... As an adult it is fun for 1-2h then it's a bit long...
- Sandra Cordier5월 22, 2019Grab your kids or grandkids and get to this place ASAP!! Lots of fun stuff to see and do.
- Danny Payne10월 4, 2016We were blown away by the size and number of experiences available. Can't wait to go back!
- Jacqueline Lombardi6월 25, 2016Definitely go through the U-505 sub exhibit. Totally worth the price of admission!

- Casey J9월 4, 2014Family friendly museum with something to see and do for everyone. Very interactive.
- Chicagoist8월 1, 2014Yes, it's one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city, but it's also something that you absolutely have to experience. 자세히 보기
