If you have time, stop and get your shoes shined and pick up a bottle of wine while you're there...
Give the homeless people something you will feel good at the end of the day
There is a less known waiting room b/w tracks 3 & 4, locations 5/6. You can tell it's there by the fresh paint smell. No bums, no beggars. Great air conditioning.
Now, If they can only do something about the battered platforms, outdated waiting rooms, prison-like toilets, and drunken vagrants hobbling about.
This place is a continuous worlds fair of the human condition. It is somehow frozen in time. Half the people look like they could have been cast in "Autobiography of Malcolm X".
Wagatwe2월 10, 2010For double Decker trains you are more likely to find free seats upstairs. People are more inclined to go downstairs as opposed to up.
The waiting benches are so comfy people fall asleep right in them!

NJTransit: At least always on time enough for you to see your departing connection...
Arrive early when their is a Devil's game because these hockey fanatics take all the seats!
If you're picking up the southbound acela here, be prepared to walk the length of the train looking for seats.

Avoid random people that approaching you. They will offer to help you how to use the ticket machine or to find a cab for you. Always they first ask and then demand for money.

If you see "All Aboard" signs and no train on the platform, chances are, the train crew forgot to turn OFF the train's stealth mode. Do not attempt to board the train till the stealth mode is OFF.
This place is a nightmare. Seating for ticketed passengers only. I have a ticket but cannot sit anywhere; homeless people everywhere. I don't think they have tickets. Behind the DD pee smell
Horrible place to spend time unless you love freakshows. Me I am good with it for about an hour.
- Turn headphones on high, avoid eye contact & pretend you don't speak English. And you will still be asking for change.
Watch your bags and there is a slight smell of over night stays.
Don't let anyone carry your bags for you. Bums and junkies are faster then they look.
