Arrive early and enjoy a meal/drinks @ Chelsea's Kitchen in Terminal 4. It's located BEFORE security checkpoint so your family & friends can join! Great food, chill vibe, and handsome bartenders.
Terminal 4, C gates: go to Cartel Coffee Lab! Chemex, Aeropress, V60 & Clever-brewed single origin coffee! Plus, *actual* espresso drinks (not the Starbucks crap).
One of the only airports that I've been too with the best food options. If you're looking for a full meal that tastes good make sure to check out the restaurants.
Uno de los mejores que he visitado.
You don't need to go to your terminal if you have your tickets already. Just go through security at the first place you see on the correct side and take the moving walkways on the opposite side.
Great food & coffee options, efficient and clean, even when it is crowded it doesn’t feel claustrophobic. Plus, literally the only place in the world where you can ride a train OVER a plane.
The property staff are very friendly and eager to help. I also noticed, everybody that needed assistance got it. The same person assisted them, until no longer needed!
Very nice, at least in Terminal 4 where American has their hub. Clean, well lit and overall very modern Terminal with some good food options. Flights go all over N. America and Europe.
Best airport name ever! Sky Harbor! Come on!!! So awesome! AND the carpet has an airplane pattern! Best carpet too. :-) Can’t forget how great it feels to fly away from the heat or back to the cool.❤️
Renting a car? Take the bus to the Rental Car Center (RCC). It's about a 10 minute ride 3 miles away. When returning the car, it's easier to get to RCC by I-10 or I-17 than going through the airport.
Upstairs at T4 by the Sky Train is not a bad place to wait especially if you have time before a flight from another terminal like the sucky-ass T2. Plugs, comfy seating, and food!
The signs don't lie, this is one of the friendliest airports in the US. Get there early as TSA can get backed up and the rental car facility is about 15 minutes away.
Very nice airport in Phoenix. Terminals are somewhat spread out. Free wifi. Lots of grab snd go food available if you have limited time between connections.
If you're in Terminal 4, best food is at Sir Veza's for Mexican or Four Peaks Brewery for local brewpub fare. Cant go wrong with a Cartel Coffee Lab brew, either.
Looking for a souvenir? Scorpion lollipops are a popular Arizona souvenir novelty or gag gift. The unique candy is apparently the airport's best selling item.
Small, simple airport; quick trip through TSA (no line this Friday morning). If flying United—Paradise Bakery & Cafe has a yummy egg white, avocado and spinachsandwich at breakfast time! ✈️
Short on open restaurants, line at every meal place fast food included and if you get in to an actual restaurant they all have reduced menus to simple sandwiches. And they all close kitchen by 5pm
Like planes? Have some time to kill? There's a great runway view w/ departures and arrivals over at gate D7. Join like-minded folks on twitter. Search for #planespotting & #avgeek. — Your pal, @User47
Best futuristic feature of Phoenix: take the sky train to 24th street station. On the way, download the Waymo app and order an autonomous vehicle take you downtown. It’s easy
Go to Blanco Taco+Tequila in Terminal 4! Probably the best meal I've ever had in an airport. Had the braised short rib & avocadocheese crisps & the white peach & hibiscus margarita. Delicious!
The airport outposts of local restaurants have street pricing - meaning you won't be gouged by outrageous airport food pricing. Prices in airport are the same as the outside restaurant.
Got an hour to kill? Stretch your legs with a wander around the rectangle of terminals. Infinite walkways! Wacky carpet! Note it's not a full loop. You can only cross n/s from b to c at the east end.
This airport is pretty good. I've always gotten through security quickly, and never had to walk too far to get to my gate. As a mom, the park and walk long term parking is horrendous, however.
One of the easiest airports to get through, I’ve never waited in line once with pre-check at United Terminal 3. Literally can arrive 30 mins before flight boards & soar through TSA.
I love this airport. I think it is well built, and easy to get around with great amenities and fast security. I hope that it keeps up good direct service with the merger
