Jack Purdy2월 22, 2013I really want to like this airport. Lots of amenities, clean, and friendly people. But it's got the most maddening, illogical layout I've ever seen.
TSA pre-check in terminal 4 takes less than 5 minutes No matter how many people are in line. They have 2 lanes and you fly right through. Love TSA pre-check!!

Carolyn Black1월 6, 2014Best airport I've been through! Super-friendly staff and security reasonably quick. Also......FREE WIFI!!!!- Dont forget to get juice for your phone...on heavy days you might find yourself next to a trashcan cuddled up making sure your props have enough battery

If you're in terminal 4 late, check out Paradise Bakery at gate C17. Open 24/7 and street prices. Bottle of water is only $1.75!

Flown in and out of here many times. It keeps getting busier and busier! Make sure you arrive early.

Hank Searfus3월 13, 2013Home base for US Airways. Plentiful food and shopping options no matter where you are. Expect to do a lot of waking if your flight is in terminal 3.
Note: taxis are plentiful but my meter had already hit $11 before we even left airport property! Ride to convention center cost about $27 with tip

Great choices for food and beverage in Terminal 4 by the first 14 "A" gates! Love Olive and Ivy!
PHX is like that nightmare you have when you're trying to escape, and it feels like you're running and not moving...the hall getting longer....this is what it's like connecting between flights.

Uliana Kozhevnikova1월 2, 2014If you are flying with US Airways, make sure that you come in three hours before you domestic flight. Even if you checked in and paid for the bags online, you may spend up to 90 min in lines.
Very nice airport. Lots of good food selections and fast shuttles to rental cars.
Surprisingly international airport but some areas need updates. Nice views of the mountains on take off and landings.
If you're in the D concourse and sitting by gate 7... Watch your step! The view out the widow is nice, but watch the real birds inside searching the floor for crumbs! :)

Rainet Lewis3월 24, 2012This airport is big & it gets crowded quickly especially in the afternoon. Make reservations early & be there at the airport on time. Some flights maybe delayed, but just be patient.
You're at "America's Friendliest Airport!" Check out all the art everywhere and ask a Navigator if you have any questions (they're in purple jackets or shirts).

The best airport hands down. Lots of art, well laid out, friendly attendants.
SkyMall3월 9, 2011If you are waiting to pick your loved ones up from Terminal 2 in Phoenix, try the Ocotillo Sun restaurant and bar. Its located before security and has meals with a southwestern flavor.

Only decent and half way healthy food in Terminal 2 is at TapAZ. Surprisingly good tapas and salads

If you rent a car give yourself plenty of time on the return. The facility is far away and the bus ride to the airport can get crowded.
If you're checking a bag for Delta late at night, go up 2 floors to the ticket counter. Faster than the downstairs check in.
