- Make sure to bring cash! Fried spring rolls are delectable as are the pork chop and lemongrass chicken phos. Vietnamese iced coffee is sooooo good too. :)
- Lori Luo8월 10, 2014This cash-only eatery serves up some excellent banh mi (get the Spicy Pork Chop) and pho. Beware of lines during peak dining hours, though.
- Steven8월 26, 2016Get the grilled pork, shrimp and spring roll combo. So good! Duck banh mi also has great sauce and flavor. Cash only!
- Jin Moon10월 29, 2016Love the food but too crowded and they only take cash. Saigon pho and their Banh mi is really good. They need better space for the guests though.
- Aron Schindler5월 15, 2015If you're really hungry, order a rice bowl with double meat! $12 won't get you more (really delicious) food in many other places!!
- Elizabeth S3월 4, 2017Got the pho spicy special with brisket, shredded beef and beef balls. SO delicious. 11$
- Define rude...you fuckin' hipsters need to realize this ain't your mommy and daddy's kitchen. Good food, great prices (for the area), fast/friendly efficient staff. 8/10.
- Their pork chops are delicious. Inexpensive place. The only bad thing is the place is really small so it's hard to get seating even in the middle of the day.
- Especially like the spicy brisket bahn mi, but the more classic ones are good too. Limited seating, so I've only ever done take-out.
- Matt Benton11월 22, 2016Pho is amazing. Remember it's cash only and often a long line of people so call ahead if you are planning to pick up anyway.
- Martina Valle8월 18, 2017Amazing food. Super fast. Cash only. Don't be scared about the line up :) ps: I got vermicelli noodles with shrimp. Nham.
- The most underrated menu item is the papaya & mango salad. Add lemongrass chicken or grilled pork chop & get spicy chili sauce for dressing.
- The vegetarian summer rolls are AMAZING. Actually you really can't go wrong with anything here, be it the pho or the bahm mi.
- Nigel Kong6월 2, 2016Good beef and huge portions. Light and savoury soup. Wait staff were nice and helpful too!
- Rafael Bravo8월 7, 2013Although everyone comes here for the super tasty (and cheap) sandwiches, the Vietnamese drip coffee is awesome! Cash only by the way so plan ahead.
- Joshua Rohrlach1월 3, 2014Short wait, but definitely worth it. They will try to get you in and out quickly, so don't expect a long stay. Food is great and cheap!
- One of the better viet places in ny. Spring rolls are in rice wrappers (how it is traditionally made). Broths are pretty good and not laden with salt.
- My favorite Vietnamese in all of NY. Lemon chicken Pho with sweet potato fries and I can never finish it all.
- Always busy so expect a wait, but they're pretty quick. A good option to get your Vietnamese cravings satisfied if you don't want to trek to chinatown.
- Gabriel Hayes8월 13, 2015Awesome variety of pho. I prefer the Saigon Shack Pho made with thinly sliced beef, beef balls & house brisket.
- Jomi Cubol10월 22, 2014Spicy Brisket! Great deal for a great sandwich. Meaty, juicy, lots of flavor for $8 :)
- Karan Tamhane3월 5, 2016The spicy grilled beef banh mi was amazingly delicious. Do not dine in if you're by yourself though. They're a little rude.
- Saarim Zaman3월 15, 2016The grilled chicken pho is great, but everything else on the menu looks just as good. Plus, the prices can't be beat
- Andrew Wong7월 2, 2019Get the classic pho! The meat is such a good texture and tenderness. Great portions and cheap eats!
- I love the veggie pho. Thai ice tea is great too. Expect long waits but the place is very cheap. Cash only
- Chicken lemongrass pho is delish, as well as the mango papaya salad (with viet chili dressing)
- Pol Gomà Deàs5월 6, 2016Delicious Phô, try the Saigon Shack one. It gets crowded, might have to wait 15mins. Only cash, no WiFi.
- Adnan Islam10월 30, 2013Don't seat by the door during winter, people walks in every single second (even when there's no place to seat). You might get sick. Great food BTW.
- Some of the best pho I've had in NY. Line can get quite long so try to go early or late.
- Ina Li2월 12, 2015Classic pho and fried spring roll. The meat is always so juicy and tender, not to mention how cheap they are!
- Mike P11월 16, 2017This place is absolutely amazing. I've had many types of Pho and this is by far the best I've ever had. Highly recommended!
- One of my go to Viet places in the city. Love all their pho and spring roll / summer rolls.
- Max Pollo9월 8, 2016Amazing banh mi & pho. One of the fastest service I've ever seen. Worth waiting for a table.
- Jolene3월 20, 2012Bring cash (it's cash only) and order the lemongrass chicken sandwich! If you have the time, eat in for best experience, as the bread can get soggy.
- New York Habitat12월 20, 2011Our go-to spot in the village, everything here is just really really tasty. We highly recommend the pho, spring rolls, and bahn mi.
- Generous portions and the pho was delicious, sweet potato fries are good too!
- Daulet Nurmanbetov2월 2, 2018Spicy S.S. special Phõ was amazing, especially if you like mildly spicy pho with a lot of meat!
- I take out either the Chicken Pho, Beef Ball Pho, Catfish Bahn Mi atleast 2x a week. Soup is amaze. Best (and only?) Vietnamese place in the area.
- Even if it's full and there's a wait you'll be seated within 15 minutes. The food also comes out super fast
- Sergio Moreno11월 7, 2014La sopa (pho) es excelente. El staff es muy amable y es muy buena la relación precio calidad. Solo cash.
- Rory Parness11월 25, 2015Duck bahn mi is the way to go. Lines are crazy though so get there at off hours.
- Matthew Tully6월 19, 2015You can't go wrong here. Try the Pho & the Bhan Mi. Don't miss the coffee either.
- Thalia K1월 6, 2013Try the Classic Beef Pho - Even by my Super-Size Me Midwest standards this was one HUGE bowl of Pho. $8 West Village. Who knew?
- Shrimp and spring rolls with vermicelli. Cheap and so tasty. Banh Mi really good too.
- great for a quick lunch! I had to wait ~10 min outside but they took my order in line and my food came basically as soon as I sat down 👻👻
- Silvan Dähn8월 6, 2014Fast service and a very good bánh mì. It was pretty crowded when we were there.
- Cooper Smith6월 27, 2012The Crab Cake Banh Mi is a nice twist on the classic vietnamese sandwich. Be sure to grab a bottle of sriracha, the spicy was lacking any kick
- An Artichoke location and a pho place open across the street from each other in the same week? This block is looking up! Get the combo pho--delicious broth and meatballs. A decent deal at $8.
