If you've never walked or biked across the Golden Gate Bridge, put it on your to-do list! What an amazing experience.

Its big, its red, and really pretty. If you’re in a car, cross the bridge and head up the Marin Headlands to take your postcard photos.

Try to walk across before 9am and the crowds. Look down at the water, you could see sea lions and dolphins.

Take a second to look at the water in the day time. Truly beautiful.

I love seeing this bridge! All I can say is enjoy the beautiful site of the bridge and bay, and enjoy the smell of the air and surroundings.

If you want to cross it, i recomend to do it in a bike.

The famous International Orange color was originally used as a sealant for the bridge. Many locals persuaded Morrow to paint the bridge in the vibrant orange color instead of standard silver or gray.

Painting this bridge is a continuous project. Once they finish, they have to start back at the beginning again, because it takes THAT LONG!

Beautiful walk. Highly recommend. You cannot go to SF, and not visit the bridge!!

Bike across the bridge and down to Tiburon. Then catch the ferry back to the city. Pack lunch, snacks and water.

Drive through the tunnel and when you come out it is a magnificent view. Then park on one of the sides and take some amazing photos

Manhole covers across the bridge can be a slip hazard when wet. Be careful.

Walk across, but you'll need to walk back! We tried to take the city bus, but it wasn't running.

If you're planning to ride Line 76 on the way back, you better check the schedule before. It runs only on Saturdays and Sundays.

I don't know if you still can do it, but several times I have walked UNDER the Golden Gate Bridge on the catwalk! What a view!!

You absolutely have to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge - but make sure to take a jacket!
