If you rent with Alamo, make sure you check your car VERY carefully before you leave. Come back with a minor skuff you missed, and you'll get screwed.

If you have bags to check, be here at the very latest one hour before departure. Most airlines cut off bag checks fourty five minutes to an hour before departure.

Salt Lake City won't cause you to reset your personal wifi connection like airports such as BWI or LAS do. Usually as soon as we get off the plane or near the airport I would have to reset. Not here!

For some reason, security is tighter here than busier, larger airports. Make sure to give yourself extra time!

If you're flying out of terminal D or E, try the security lane at the international building. It's usually empty! Even for domestic flights.

Here is a thought SLC...If your airport is open it might be nice to have some stores open. Beware early flights out of here are lonely...especially with no coffee.
