S L.: Large beef with spicy miso broth. Put garlic and green onion into the ponzu sauce. One of the best shabu spots in SF.

S L.: Authentic Korean food. Excellent service. Unlimited banchan during lunch.

S L.: Great dim-sum spot. Large dining hall, good food, better-than-expected service.

S L.: Bún Chả Hà Nội (Hanoi in English) comes with a ton of vegetables and is pretty authentic.

Cheapism: For $3.75 you can get the roast pork banh mi with pate . Make sure to leave for lunch early, because there’s always a line out the door. The rest of the menu ranges around $3-$5. 자세히 보기

S L.: Family owned and operated for 20 years. Try the beef tartare, bánh xèo (one of the best), imperial rolls, phở bò, or a vermicelli (bún) dish.

MinTz: Lots of choice in menu that can't find in other Vietnamese restaurant. The food is really good and free hot Chinese tea. Try beef stew Pho!!

S L.: I love the venue, their tea selections, and Isobe Mochi (order it with the sauce on the side so you can taste the mochi and control how much sauce you want to put on it).

S L.: Authentic and delicious Indian food. Many vegetarian options. I highly recommend the Chicken M-something (I forgot the exact name). It's a tomato-based curry sauce and the best curry I've ever had.

S L.: Terrible service but their Bún Bò Huế is the most authentic and the best you can find in a 50-mile radius.

Rebecca Goberstein: One of my favorite brunch places in the city, especially on a sunny day. Everything is done really well - and they give you a basket of mini scones and muffins while you wait!

Alex Malinovich: Their orange juice is the freshest you can possibly get. Get the small though. The large is huge.

S L.: Mostly seasonal flavors. My favorites are guavasteen (only Nov-Feb), young coconut (year-round but not always available), semifreddi's biscotti (also year-round, almost always available).

S L.: Option 1: Lychee green tea with aloe vera and pearls, half sweetened. Option 2: Honey lemon green tea with aloe vera, pearls, and lychee fruit bits.

Carolyn Kao: They have regular, chocolate, and coconut eggettes!

S L.: Good dim sum. 20-minute wait at 2pm on a Sunday. Friends said this place is relatively undiscovered, well known only within the SF Cantonese community.

Richard Donaldson: Everything is great - hot from Kitchen as you order via the worksheets instead of roaming carts - while it is busy, it is worth it - big fan of the staples: Har Gow, Sui Mai, Steamed pork ribs, Turnip

Jane Nguyen: HUGE place compared to the other shabu houses. Clean and friendly staff too!! Red bean > green tea

David Rodriguez: Shaking beef was AMAZING!!! Also loved the ahi tuna tar tar and the presentation of it was really cool with the dry ice smoking out of the bottom. The ambiance of this place was really hip too.

S L.: Best Japanese curry in San Francisco!! The owners Brian and Ryan are really nice, too. The place is tiny with no tables, only a counter, like in Japan. Remember to bring cash.

cyn k: best brunch in the country. try the fruit plate and the soft scrambled eggs.

Jennifer Leggio: Free wifi, big tables, power outlets, yummy food and good work ambiance. Need iPod or earbuds though as the place echoes a little.

S L.: A bit on the expensive side for K-BBQ (they raised prices in the last 12 months). Very attentive service, very good kalbi. Their sundubu jigae is not as good as others, Mom's Tofu House, for example.

S L.: Great basic Italian fares. Their spaghetti with marinara and meatballs is excellent, even for to-go.

S L.: I recommend the original froyo with shaved chocolate, ollalieberry jam, fresh strawberries or blueberries, and mochi.

Ann Marie Alanes: One of the more beautiful Indian restaurants and a larger spread to choose from compared to other Indian buffets I've frequented in the area. There's been different desserts every time I've gone.

Showtime Network: This place has everything from fresh flowers, to bread, fish, meat, veggies, fruit. It’s a great place to stock up and spend the day. - Nikki

Sofia Gomez: All of their ceviches are sooo good! They have really good sangria as well.

Jonathan Long: Get the strawberry/chocolate crepes. You won't be disappointed

S L.: Inside the new Target/Metreon complex. Good dessert crêpes.

S L.: The sofas are super soft and comfy. Plus there's free wifi. Perfect weekend reading lounge.

S L.: SOMA late-night comfort food option. Favorite dish: goat vindaloo.

Sabine Alam: Monkey to go is a great option of you don't have time for a nice sit down meal.

Arthur Law: Go on Taco Tuesdays for $1 Ahi Tuna tacos. 6pm-midnight

Kim Solomon: Have brunch in The Garden Court. This was where horse-drawn carriages used to ride up to drop off their passengers. Also check out the famous “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” mural at the Pied Piper Bar.

Elaine Courtney: Beautiful view of Union Square and the throngs of people that move around day in and day out. It's steep for what it offers, but the atmosphere is excellent. Go for afternoon tea.

Olivia Watkins: the salsa bar in the back room has 2x the salsa options as the one near the register. YES PLEASE

S L.: Amazing food: fresh, light, super well balanced dishes. The mini donuts were heavenly. Go for the DineAboutTown menu, it's a great value.
