    Go for the unusual drink vessels here which include, flagons, glasses and bowls. Order the G.M. Gurton's which is a mix of oloroso sherry, Cognac, Jamaican rum, and muscovado sugar.

    Cool ambiance, loved the book of drinks/prohibition they give you. Drinks are great if you're a whisky guy/gal otherwise may not be the place for you. Friendlier service could have made the experience

    It's worth the trek & wait to sit upstairs. Fun book menu with amazing drinks. Tons of character and unique details. Perfect for dates.

    Try the second floor bar for a more engaging speakeasy experience or the third for bigger groups. They have a cocktail with whiskey and papaya that'll rock your world.

    Always been the best bar... but now with so many accolades, it is unbelievably crowded and not as enjoyable as previous visits:( 45 min wait for the cocktail bar upstairs!!

    Opt to sit in the upstairs Parlor for a chance to try a drink from their extensive cocktail menu and order several bites, such as the Fries or Chicken Pot Pie, as well.

    What's not good here? I always go for a drink with Chartreuse because it's a difficult ingredient. but these people know what they're doing! sit at the bar upstairs and watch their magic!

    I'm sure it's great based on reputation but the people who work here think they have become world beaters. Which is sad as the cosines is what probably made this place so incredible in the first place

    Fantastic. Grab drinks downstairs or wait for a table upstairs if you want to order some good food. The chips & dips is great (fries) and so are the zucchini fritters. Excellent cocktails.

    If you can find the elbow room in this always-lively joint, you won't be disappointed with the abundance of whiskey and perfectly-balanced cocktails.

    Expertly done old fashioned cocktails for a super reasonable price in FiDi. Peering outside the bar from within on sunny days is mesmerizing and the staff make you feel completely at home. Love it.

    Bar food downstairs is amazing. Cocktails upstairs are great. Don't be put off if there's a long wait time for a table - it's almost never as long as they expect.

    Great place with excelent food and awesome cocktails. There are 3 floors with distinct environments so you can go there for parties or even for a date.

    On Sundays, only downstairs is open, but with live Irish music and many cocktail options, including punch bowls and Irish coffee.

    Good spot for a beer and late night meal. Their kitchen is open until 11:30ish, which is hard to find in FiDi.

    It can often be too crowded due to it's lonely status in the FiDi, but The Dead Rabbit has an impressive book of inventive cocktails, expertly crafted drinks, and a solid food menu to match.

    Upstairs is the #1 bar in the country and now I know why. They use the highest quality ingredients and have a book full of cocktails. Lord of the Ward was delicious.

    Head upstairs for the civilized sips. It's run by one of the worlds best bartenders (no exaggeration) and well worth the wait downstairs, amongst the sea of suits.

    This bar definitely one of the best places where you can get brilliant daiquiri. My next visit would be at the Saturday morning. I heard their brunch is excellent.

    Superb cocktails, in a very cool and old school setting. They have a dining area with a food menu, but it gets busy, so better make reservations.

    I love this place! Definitely go to the parlor space upstairs and get a seat at the bar next to the piano. Drink punch out of tea cups & absinthe to your heart's content.

    Best cocktails in New York City. If you sit downstairs there is a smart menu so try to sit upstairs get some good food and try some cocktails! PLUS it's downtown so it's close to every train!

    Parlour upstairs opens at 5pm...if you don't ask for it, they'll shuffle you into the ground floor taproom. Not bad option, but different experience. You'll get a buzzer to wait for the parlor anyway

    Everything great! Nice menu, great cocktails, fast service, but they keep u the credit card until you leave which is uncomfortable and maybe rather unusual?

    Get the seat upstairs for some insane cocktails. Bartenders are super helpful--definitely get their suggestions. Short rib sliders make a tasty side.

    Despite the 'Fighting Irish' no longer being on the menu they are more than willing to make. After two of those with a plate of French Fries in Truffle oil I found myself in 7th heaven 😇

    Think the menu is cool? You can buy one... $50, but worth it if you're a cocktail fan, New York history fan, or are interested in the history of the Dead Rabbit Gang/have seen Gangs Of New York.

    Awesome cocktail bar, huge range of cocktails, helpful bar tenders and the doorman was great too. Head upstairs for $ oysters and green happy hour.

    Loved the chicken pot pie on a rainy day. Probably the best I've ever had. One could serve two people (in a big eater and had half the pie left over).

    The food and cocktails here are superb. However the crowd and location aren't ideal. But it's probably the best in the neighborhood. I had a fantastic evening here.

    Expect a least a half hour wait at the downstairs bar - the lamb sliders, creative cocktails and intimate setting make it well worth the wait.

    Irish tavern with separate cocktail den upstairs. Great drinks, arranged by characteristics (fiery, fresh, ambitious etc). Great ambiance too - mid-1800s vibe.

    I highly recommend this place. Increadible cask ale. My favorite cocktail is the Old Mule Skinner.
