    Ummm, literally every single person in the restaurant was white. That's hard to do for a southern restaurant in New York City.

    Never underestimate the power of a biscuit. Buttermilk and chive was awesome, plus we got a "gift from the chef" in the form of donuts! Also go for the fried pickles.

    Awesome brunch. Great for entertaining out of town guests. Don't order the mac and cheese for just yourself, you'll look like a a-hole. Share!

    Don't get the avocado "smash" with your biscuit during brunch. It's a $5 spoonful of mediocre guacamole. Also weird rules about holding menus.

    i absolutely love this place! not only is the brunch and dinner outstanding, the drinks are great and the staff are beyond friendly!

    Only better avocado toast I've had in the city is at Cafe Gitane. And they're playing old-school Whitney up in here!

    Not as good as the first time, but still worth it. I like their winter menu better. No mint julep slushies this time around but the Front Porch (iced tea-based) was a yummy substitute.

    Brunch was over-priced, not worth the wait and disappointing. The 'crab cake' was singular and small but tasted very fresh. The fried eggs were covered in butter and oil. Salsa and harissa mayo rocked

    Get the (new) fried green tomatoes, but ask for the buttermilk dressing instead of the vinagrette
