Pretty decent German beer garden with a nice selection of beers and a good outdoor seating area in the back. Food is not the most authentic but good when craving some brats and spatzle.
Nice intimate outdoor venue. Cool biblical architecture that speaks to the odd history of the place. Only problem is that you can hear the noise from the Bowl if performances are at the same time.

Good easy hike that gets the heart pumping and rewards you with views over the heart of the San Gabriels. The newly rebuilt lookout tower is nicely done and provides some shade underneath.
Excellent little park with lots of short fun trails. If the lots are full park on highway 1 and just walk in - it’s not as far as it seems on the map. Head to the south trail and work clockwise.
