A cute Belgian chain cafe that has outdoor seating in front & a lovely back patio. A bit pricier but worth it for the relaxing atmosphere-surf, snack,& sip away. Their Summer berry trifle to die for!
My absolute fave is the Kouign-amann, which tastes like a more sugary croissant that's crispy on the outside & soft inside. For macarons, Maison Ladurรฉe still reigns supreme!
Apricot Danish is like a croissant that has an apricot jam w/ pistachio cream filling. The croissant was good. I would get it again if I was in the area but wouldn't make a special trip just for it!
Savory Canotto w/ brioche dough, gruyere, prosciutto, fennel seed, & mascarpone is my 1st pick of savory items. And for my fave sweet one, I'd take any one of their Canottos Dolce w/ seasonal fruit.

Best veggie cream cheese I've ever had. My go-to spread! If you want your bagel toasted, you have to ASK for it toasted. And know your order before you get to the counter. They are quick!
Best bagels. Hands down. They come fresh out of the oven many times a day. You can get hot bagels at 1pm as easily as at 1am. 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
Fabulous marketplace with great fresh seafood, produce, prepared food, cheeses and pretty much anything else you could possibly need. Love the imported marcona almonds in sunflower oil!
A great place to work (or have a meeting.) Free wifi, a downstairs filled with tables and an outdoor space, PLUS: doughnuts from Dough! I love it here.

Delicious artisanal cakes by the slice in an ethereal setting. The cheesecake is the star attraction. The crepe cakes and strawberry shortcake are also outstanding.
I get their bento boxes for lunch or dinner at least three times a week. Around $6-7 and a good variety. My favourite is the miso salmon. The onigiri aren't amazing, but they're cheap and filling.
Try the banana chocolate cheddar pastry called pisang molen. Fresh out of the oven or just warmed up, it's really delicious.
Stick to the bakery and try the almond croissant. It's like a crispy cookie on the outside with creamy almond paste on the inside between layers of flaky, buttery pastry. Absolute perfection.

i'm not even a fan of lemon desserts but the lemon-poppy kouign amann at this place was seriously the best thing EVER. such a nice balance of crunchy outside + soft, squishy insides + custard. perfect
Great deserts of course but the most surprising thing they offer are incredible breakfast sandwiches - ham and cheese croissant is my fav - and healthy to-go salads for lunch!
Very small so call ahead of you are coming after 10am on weekends (or plan on grabbing a cup of coffee nearby while you wait)
Get the French toast. Scones are fluffy and awesome, too. And if you like floral tea, you have to try the house tea blend.
Service is slow w/ only 1 server & 1 hostess. Oreo Chocolate Chip scone was AMAZING. New England Clam Chowder w/ rosemary bread is SO GOOD!!

Great cozy seating. La Columbe coffee is the standard-awesome. Croque Madame is brunch worthy. Apple turnover, to die 4. Pain au chocolate, sometimes is still warm--Ridic! Run there, don't walk.

When Iโm on the go I grab a banh mi, made with our homemade pรขtรฉ, sausage and ham, it is the most incredible on the planet. For something sweet, a crispy on the outside, soft on the inside canelรฉ.

LOVED raspberry croissant, chocolate cookie, & Blue Bottle coffee (from SF!) here! Bacon gruyere scone were pretty decent. So is Kouign Amann when they have 'em. Unique macaron flavors!
This locale is a bit of a bummer: mostly a tourist trap, crowded & not as comfy as UWS locale-which is the 1 that offers my fave Kouign Amann in NYC. For macarons, Maison Ladurรฉe still reigns supreme!
Passionfruit (front) + dulce de leche doughnuts were IMO more tasty & less oily & dense than the ones at the Doughnut Plant.
Altho' Passionfruit + Blood Orange frostings are tastier than most, doughnuts here are breadier & less sweet which I prefer. IMO, they're still less oily & not as dense than the 1's @ Doughnut Plant.
All the decadence of perfectly executed French pastries (like lemon-meringue tarts, profiteroles and chocolate-chip brioche), none of the gluten. ์์ธํ ๋ณด๊ธฐ

We can't believe an Italian Bakery introduced us to Lard Bread! Praise the Lard they did!
Tip 1 -- Chocolate rolls on Friday. Tip 2 -- Sign for diet bread actually holds loaves of semolina bread, which is awesome.
Sunday & Wednesday you can find freshly made Raisin fennel bread sells out quick.
Pain de Gruyere = to die for. Your mouth won't know what to do except smile :) Get a loaf to go if the bakery line isn't too long. If so, you can buy at the table at restaurant price for $0.50 more.
Best Baguette: baguette Monge-slightly swollen at middle & slender at tips, crackly outer crust yielding to a moist, almost damp crumb...tastes buttery w/o butter, rich & complex w. a subtle tang.
Delicious French pastries. Obviously the chocolate croissant is a must, but the Yuzu pastry is also good!

Giant, wonderful, delicious, heaven-in-every-bite cookies!!! $4 per cookie. Four types to choose from: Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Walnut, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip, and Oatmeal Raisin.
These cookies are big, heavy, kinda deformed....but SO GOOD. Probably the best oatmeal raisin cookie I've had (I usually never go for these) and the chocolate chip walnut one is heavenly too.
Being a complete glutton at Levain's Bakery is socially acceptable. The oatmeal raisin scones are a must-have! Order milk or an ice coffee with it & you won't be disappointed. Best scones in the city!
Omg this place smells soooo good when you walk in! It's tiny, but a hopping place. All the breads are vegan and they have chocolate rolls that are vegan and to die for.
Beautiful, large new space opened to alleviate the lines of the original UWS location. Original cookies along with delicious breads, pastures, pizzas and sticky buns. But get there early for the buns!

I stopped here to pick up something yummy for my friend's bday. Everything looked so good! I got her a little set of 4 cake pops. The manager and staff were very nice and I'll definitely be back.
Black & whites and hamantaschen are the headliners here, but don't overlook the scrumptious butter cookies -- covered in almonds or filled with raspberry jam. These are WHOA NELLY good.
Order the Black Raspberry Rum Cake- our fave & the Caribbean Rum Bundt Cake is also great. Both have pure Madagascar vanilla & packed full of dark Bacardi Rum in the batter & the sauce.
Tasted (+ bought 2!) BEST rum cakes off the Caribbean @ an UES street fair. Not cheap & they're originally based in Troy NY but you can also order the Black Raspberry Rum Cake- our fave- online!

I love their fruit pastries, the blueberry and cream pastry is my favorite. The sweet potato twist is pretty awesome too. The fruit tarts are as good as the ones I have eaten in real European bakeries
Blueberry stuffed French toast yum. All the baked goods. This has what Starbucks is missing--great baked goods. If you're tired of Starbucks food and looking for a carb-bomb definitely try this place!
May be dirty but I scored some great hard-to-find yummies here: Maxim moon cakes + SCHWEPPES CREAM SODA (not cheap tho')!! Happy upcoming Mid-Autumn fest on 9/24/18 all! :)
Fan of their Brown Sugar DKA even thoโ itโs denser than Bouchon Bakeryโs & the canelleโs are Mโs faves but not loving the little flies buzzing around uncovered pastries.
Forget the BBQ Pork Bun, curry fish balls, rice noodles & the rest. Stick to their authentic HK-Style Milk Tea + famous SPONGE CAKE (plain, green tea, strawberry, etc) which are BEST in Cโtown!
Breakfast sandwiches are to die for! Definitely get the sundried tomato spread on it
Nice outdoor seating on patio to the right of shop, great coffee and pastries. Refrigerated sandwiches aren't the best but a decent snack if you're in a hurry. Overall, awesome spot for coffee in OGT
