    Ask for Simon @ the bar, he will make you an incredible cocktail (& say nice things in his French accent). We created Death Eve (a cocktail w/ absinthe). Give it a go.

    DBGB cranks all week and for good reason. Ordered the Paleron Carbonnade (flat iron steak braised in dark beer). Never had anything quite like it before.

    This place is by no means affordable or fast-food. But on a special occasion, come blow $19 on their 'Piggie Burger' with Daisy May's pulled pork. It's not worth $19, but god damn is it a good burger.

    Found the food underwhelming. Was recommended to visit by our server at a fine dining restaurant in Seattle, but came out disappointed. Expected more from Mr. Boulud.

    The brisket pasta entree is amazing. But you will need to go to the gym in the morning

    DBGB's rating on foursquare is CRIMINALLY high. This place is completely average if not below average. Nothing is great, sausages are very small, service is mistake riddled....I could keep going.

    Forgo the intense back room and chill bar side. Kumamotos, pigs feet, bone marrow and wine that does it's job.

    stick to beer and burgers. love the piggie. also, a good server will let you taste-test a bunch of beers if you ask for suggestions.

    Piggie burger was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Yet service was surprisingly poor, especially for a slow Tuesday. Pretty disappointing considering this is a Daniel restaurant...

    Best frites in NYC IMO. Burgers and Boudin Noir paired with one of many Belgian or local beers is the way to go.

    Go to DBGB for the meat. Stay for the beer. Ask for the Berliner Weisse. Finish up with a trip across Houston to Whole Foods' beer section for continued carousing at home.

    Take the edge off with a beer out of their broad selection of domestic and imported micro brews. Avoid getting hammered by ordering Daniel Boulud's excellent bar food.
