Ask if they have salmon or yellowtail cheek or collar on the menu as a special, if so (they usually do), it is a MUST try!

The set menu lunch is expensive but a great value for the quality and portion size. We enjoyed the fried chicken and the tonkatsu.

You must try the Crispy Fried Chicken, it's fantastic. Beware though, it comes out super hot but is so tasty you'll be willing to burn your mouth off just for another bite.

Try the Okara- it's delicious. Braised in shoyu & shot through w. tender bits of shiitake mushrooms, carrots, & snow peas, the okara has a crumbly, slightly spongy texture. Give it a try!

One of the most elegant dining experiences ever - a bit pricey but worth every penny. Our tip: Book reservations during restaurant week and snag a three-course meal for $40

Unique, Kyoto-influenced Japanese. On the pricey side, but brunch is reasonable. Excellent for vegetarians/vegans.

It takes a lot of work to eat the yellowtail collar, but it's the best large dish on the menu. Don't be lazy!

Food and ambiance are great but sooooo overpriced. $20 for 8 tiny tuna rolls??? Two apps, two drinks and two rolls cost my friend and $100+. Enjoyable but not worth cost

A lot of authentic Japanese favors but overall not impressed with what you get for the price tag. Yakitori toto on 55th is more casual and affordable, and every bite at EN made me wish I were there.

Their dinner menu, of course, is delicious. But try their Sat / Sun only brunch. Highly recommend steak and eggs or the uni soba.
