Food is always great - no matter what you try. Service is good too. Try the crab cakes and the oysters!

Love the Old Ebbitt, what a fabulous tradition and and DC institution. A close friend and I have lunch there weekly. Never had a bad meal there, and prices aren't bad, either. Gr8 fried oyster stew!

Best value in DC. High quality, solid portions, fair prices. Open late and a great raw bar is a plus. President grant would go here if he was still around. Cheers!

If bartender Joe V. is working (usually at the Oyster Bar), he will take good care of you. In the dining room, Johnny is top-notch.
