- Sara Ainslie3월 31, 2015Terminal A Security are so funny & friendly! Makes the trip so much more pleasant.
- There's nothing like the view of Staten Island's rolling hills, as seen from EWR, on a clear summer day
- Nowhere decent to eat so you better bring some bagels or pizza along with you!
- Bee8월 7, 2014Just request an Uber when you're walking out of the plane, and it'll be ready outside by the time you reach there!
- For those living in NJ to the west and south remember ABE could be an option as well.
- Please avoid this airport if you can, especially for connecting flights. Many delays and cancellations due to large volume of traffic and the weather.
- NJ Transit can get you to Penn Station NY in 30 mins if you get the timing right. Amtrak in 20 for double the price.
- Junior Carmello8월 27, 2014Busy airport but with a lot of flights to different destinations. Avoid going to the airport at rush hour.
- KB3월 17, 2013Always get here early. Security is usually right but tight! Avoid the rush and headache for positive vibes before your departure. Safe traveling
- If you get a meal on the flight, immediately place your butter onto your hot entree to melt the butter. Super delicious.
- Can be a dreary and unfriendly place and it can be easy to get sucked into the negative vortex here. Make a stranger smile - you will feel better too!
- Home to the ultimate automotive sales and marketing training and consulting firm in the automotive industry, Dealer eTraining.
- Heather G4월 14, 2016The C terminal is cool. Whisky bar, decent looking food, Modern food court w/self order self pay.
- Aristo Bhupal11월 13, 2011Always keep time at hour hand while at this airport.....Its huge! You would require 20-30 mins minimum to actually board your flight (from security check to boarding)
- Don8월 15, 2014Consider using the preferred line vs TSA pre check. Today I turned back into normal lane. No wait plus I was handed a card to leave my shoes on and metal screen.
- Newark is the Eskimo word for whales vagina. Understandable why the city bares this name. (I read it on Wikipedia. Must be true)
- There's not much in the way of shopping. For food, the Belgian bar is probably the best of two options after passport control
- You can pick up a shuttle bus at gate C71 that transfers to B or A terminal without going through security again. If you take the AirTrain you'll have to leave the secure area.
- Try to catch one of the pigeons walking around inside the terminal. Protip: lure them closer with pretzel crumbs from Auntie Anne's.
- UglyCook3월 7, 2015Having charging stations on these days should be norm... Thank god for that. If on terminal C go for a hotdog at Nathan's.
- Diana Ibrahim11월 13, 2013Aunt Annies pretzels are only 2.99... For something just to settle your stomach, it's delicious and cheap
- Security backs up at peak times. Get there early! Especially if you don't have TSA precheck.
- Scott Kleinberg12월 17, 2015The traffic getting here is dicey, so allow extra time. You'll do better on 1-9 than the Turnpike or 78.
- If you have a choice, fly JetBlue out of Newark. Security is so much less stressful at Terminal B than Continental at Terminal C. Lines are shorter and everybody is happier. A better start to the day!
- Korey Lartigue11월 26, 2011If you're looking for a cheap way to leave the city within the next few hours. EWR always has the cheap-getawat flights. But +/- 100$ for car service, depending on where you're coming from.
- Never know what traffic in is going to be like, so get there early and enjoy the restaurants.
- Charter a private yacht for your next corporate event, family fun or any event on the water! NYC cruises, Long Island, CT and more. Dave.zingis@gmail.com for more info!!
- Dani2월 25, 2013The only airport serving the New York region prior to LGA's construction, and hub for United Airlines. Watch out for rush-hour and high-demand traffic times, Newark could not be any slower.
- The NJ transit train ticket includes the $5 AirTrain fee. The tip that says AirTrain is free is incorrect.
- Horrible, no pre-check for terminal A, frequent 'random' selections for additional screening. Bring bread crumbs and make friends with the pigeons that infest this travel gem.
- Kaleigh Jeffers2월 25, 2013Love the complimentary snacks and drinks and comfy chairs in the United Presidential Club!
- One of the friendlier airports I've been to in terms of staff. Even CBP agents are pleasant.
- Aromal Rajagopal6월 9, 2014Good place to buy perfumes and cosmetics and save on heavy duty. Good food courts too
- The food situation has declined. Every restaurant is run by one vendor. No local flavor. Like eating at a restaurant run by the Borg. 😱
