Crumbs Bake Shop in Terminal C serves up massive muffins and cupcakes, plus lemonade, iced coffee and tea ready to grab and go.
Airtrain to Penn Station: $15, thirty minutes from the airport to the city. Best and fastest deal around.
When is this airport getting an upgrade?? This airport is aesthetically and technologically backwards! A true eyesore!

Cancer-Causing Full Body Scanners (aka TSA Death Machines) in use. Request a normal pat down instead--if more than one at a time does it, they just have you go through the metal detector
Getting a cab is weird as shit if you plan to pay with a card... If I wanted to write them a check 1) I would have brought my checkbook 2) I would be an asshole. Plus there is a $6 voucher fee. BS
If your traveling using the Airport Tram between parking and terminals, give yourself lot of time. It’s run pretty inefficiently.
If you've got the time, Newark airport is a little further than New York's airport, but it is way better, less crowds, less chaos, just better...
Easy to get to from NYC via train. 15-20 minute train ride and you're here.
Even if you have elite status for united be prepared to wait to check bags if you go inside- the outside bag check usually has no line for the elite check-in
Terminal B esp in the 60s gates: poorly outfitted, no water fountains, minimal yet expensive food options, and it generally sucks. Hydrate before security - but at least security moves quickly.

Quick entry to NYC straight into Penn station. Rapido passagé through global entry, too.

Kimmie Matthews4월 23, 2015Well, security is a joke. I have TSA PreCheck and they didn't have that lane open but they kept one lane flowing quickly and built up another so that we were in security for about 45 minutes.
Two words: Frozen Drinks. Two more words: Caliente Cab. Last two words: Food Court.
- Watch out for the little old man transporting the elderly around shouting "meep, meep" - while hilarious he's super dangerous and will run you over!
Beautiful airport... If you've only lived in prisons and animal shelters.

Take your iPad out of your bag. They claim they can't see through them on the X-ray. It will save you time from them taking it out and rerunning your bag anyway.

I prefer P4 parking, 1st level always available early Monday morning (although always says full you will get a spot) and closest to terminal C- Packing condoms in your luggage is OK. Just make sure it's not sitting right on top, where everyone can see it the minute you open your bag. Rookie mistake.
Coming to or from NY Penn Station? TAKE THE TRAIN!! Seriously, it is so easy, don't waste time or money on a cab.
If you’re an international traveler - rush to immigration Zone C when you arrive to the gate to avoid big lines.

For some reason, anytime of the day that I fly the security line is SUPER long, leave extra time for this!!!
They decide to clean the hoods of 90% of the restaurants at the same time, so good luck finding dinner if you are hungry at that time.
Global Entry (while still fast) is getting bogged down with human checkpoints here. Had to stop at three individual people. Was told "it's not EZ Pass" even though it has always been EZ Pass.
Please be nice to others. Please don’t listen to devices without earphones or eat odiferous foods on planes.
