Grilled Octopus (antipasti) and Semifreddo (dolci) are musts. DO NOT order Black Spaghetti, but people rave about the pastas (can try their $80 pasta tasting menu). Very packed so expect noisy meal
#5 on 2013 Best Resto List, $195 tasting menu only, whether lunch or dinner. Should switch to summer menu soon but expect lots of seafood. Very thoughtful dishes and can request kitchen tour :)

Lovely monumental building, very well maintained. Do catch the 11am/2pm free visitor tour (guided by some lovely old lady) if you go!

Red Velvet Cupcakes are infamous. Only tried Banana Pudding - not bad, eat it chilled :)
Can ride on Staten Island Ferry (which is free) to Staten Island (not to Ellis Island where the Statue is) to get a view (not exactly close though) of the Statue. Not much to see/do on Staten though

Very popular breakfast/ brunch spot among tourists. Can consider having dinner there to avoid queuing. Blueberry pancakes - soo good !!
With 4 floors this is much larger than Hershey's Store (just across the street). But Hershey's got more choco varieties ... not just choco buttons LOL
